Marigold was established since 1988. It’s a family establishment of 2 generations. I have now taken over as my parents want to retire as they have been working non stop since it has opened. We are the first Asian restaurant here in Trim.
I was born in Trim myself. This is my hometown so this restaurant means so much to me also. I graduated from DCU in 2012 with bachelors honours degree in international business and management. Having worked here all my life whenever I had the chance I finally took the courage to take over last year. It was a big project but I have so much passion for my job and for this restaurant. It is an honour to be the owner of this restaurant and I feel so privileged to be in such an amazing position today. Therefore I have over 20 years experience in the job!


The head chef named Tony is a the founder of this restaurant in 1988. He still remains as head chef as he has such passion for his food. He prepares his sauces and ingredients fresh every morning.
He’s not ready for full retirement yet as this kitchen is his life. He plays the most important role in our restaurant and is the key to our success. He’s the most hard working person ever and without him we would not be so successful.
